Welcome to Yona's own page!
Yona came to us from Sweden, at the age of 10 weeks. Yona is bred by
kennel Cahppes and her official name is Cahppes Miss Qrendi. Yona's
calling name is also American Indian's language and means Gray Bear
by Cherokees.
Thought of having Yona born little by little and when I followed
different breeding plans here in Finland and also all over the
world, I noticed breeding plans in Chappes's website. Combination
was really interesting, both dam's and sire's side. Both parents has
Storm Kloud's lines in back of their pedigrees and those lines have
many working dogs. For instance 6 of year's 1994 Iditarod malamutes.
I have also dreamed of breeding quality female and this combination
had really many positive sides, if you think that also.

Yona is very happy and energetic puppy, maybe even a little bit "crazy
girl", her breeders Anci and Henrik has told us. Her tail never stop wagging,
even when she was micro-chipped, it went wagging all the time. Our
little miss is brave and open, social, happy and loves people. Anci
told us, that she even might be "hands full", when she's young, but
after all Yona is very stabile girl.
At the age of 5 months, Yona has shown many qualities of her
character. She is extremely energetic, very kind but in the same
time very lively and happy girl. Yona has also shown us, that she
can be very stubborn, if she wants to. She loves speed and you
rarely see her trot anywhere - it always has to be full speed
ahead... Yona is also self-confident and brave, so we are very
pleased her temperament.
Future will tell us more about this lovely girl. We are very
interested to follow her growth and development We'll hope, that she
will grow up to be a good addition to our team!
